SEMI and the SIA recently testified at a U.S. International Trade Commission public hearing to request removal of semiconductor-related products from a list of Chinese imports slated for 25% tariffs. The associations cited a potential loss of U.S. leadership and market share in the chip space that could result from their inclusion.
